Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civil engineering project in Bridgwater. You will play a key role in delivering the works, carrying out setting out duties, maintaining quality standards, and supporting the successful delivery of the project.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
- Strong setting out and surveying experience
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience completing QA documentation and site records
- Competent using surveying equipment and engineering software
- Relevant CSCS qualification (SMSTS/SSSTS advantageous)
Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out and surveying duties
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Maintain accurate site records and QA documentation
- Liaise with the Site Agent, Project Manager, and subcontractors
- Monitor quality, progress, and compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with planning and resolving on-site engineering issues
