Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a major HS2 bridge project in Brackley. This is a quality assurance-focused position supporting the construction of a new bridge, ensuring all works meet project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. This role does not involve setting out.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a QA Engineer on civil engineering projects
- Strong background in bridge structures
- Experience with bridge joints and structural works
- Good understanding of QA processes, inspections, and documentation
- Ability to work effectively within a site team on a major infrastructure project
Responsibilities:
- Carry out quality assurance inspections throughout the project
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications and quality standards
- Maintain accurate QA records and documentation
- Complete inspections, check sheets, and quality reports
- Liaise with site engineers, supervisors, and the client to resolve quality issues
- Support the successful delivery of the bridge construction works
