ROLE: Assistant Project Manager
LOCATION: Doncaster
Day Rate: 200-230 DOE
BACKGROUND: CIVIL ENGINEERING
Reports To: Project Manager - Civil Engineering
Role Purpose
Support the Project Manager in delivering the Civil Engineering package for a large scale Civil Engineering project, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of civil engineering works including earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete, drainage, roads and fencing.
- Monitor programme, cost, quality and contractor performance.
- Coordinate subcontractors, engineers, suppliers and client representatives.
- Assist with planning, progress reporting and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Review drawings, technical queries, method statements and construction documentation.
- Support commercial activities including variations, procurement and payment assessments.
- Attend site meetings and maintain accurate project records.
