The housekeeper ensures a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. You will work efficiently and discreetly to enhance the guest experience by maintaining a welcoming and tidy environment.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Service guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking cart with room supplies, replacing bed linens, and replenishing guest room supplies.
  • Collect and dispose of all garbage and recyclables.
  • Sweep, mop, polish, refinish resilient floors; vacuum floors; perform all cleaning aspects.
  • Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping: notifying of checkouts, late checkouts, early check-ins, and special requests.
  • Adhere to all appropriate workplace regulations and legislation regarding health and safety, accommodation standards, and company policies and procedures.
  • Greet guests with a smile and answer their questions as required.

25 minutes allocated per room for cleaning.
