Groundsman / Cleaner Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council Portrush, County Antrim

We are currently looking for a Groundsperson / Cleaner for our client Causeway Coast and Glens working at Carrick Dhu Caravan Park Portrush on a temporary, seasonal contract, immediate start.

MAIN DUTIES Groundsman

  • General upkeep of grounds, roads, paths and other infrastructure.
  • Cutting / clearing grass /vegetation and trimming borders.
  • General cleansing, maintenance of toilet blocks & bin area.
  • Other duties relevant to the operation of a Holiday Park as requested by the Permanent Groundsman and Park Warden.

MAIN DUTIES Cleaner

  • General cleaning of male & female toilet blocks, dishwashing rooms & laundry
  • Operate and use mechanical and electrical cleaning and polishing equipment
  • Any other duties as requested by the Warden
  • Criteria
  • Available on all dates specified, including weekends, Bank and Public Holidays.
  • Willing to work flexible hours which will be between 8am and 8pm on a rota basis.
  • Experience of grass cutting, using push lawnmowers, strimmers & leaf blowers.
  • At least 2 months experience of working outside in all weathers.
  • Experience of cleaning public toilets and showers.
  • Experience of dealing with the public in a polite and effective manner.
  • At least 2 months general cleaning experience including hand scrubbing and cleaning of toilets
  • Carry out duties on any other Council Holiday Park if required.
