Job summary:

  • To provide a comprehensive financial monitoring and support service for the PEACEPLUS Programme in the implementation, maintenance and delivery of financial control systems.
  • To provide up-to-date financial information as required for Special European Union programmes Body, the PEACEPLUS Partnership and Sub-groups and the Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council as required.
  • To ensure compliance with EU, Special European Unions Programme Body (SEUPB) and Council financial procedures.
  • To provide support and oversee procurement by Council-Led Programmes & External Contractors.
  • Ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legislative requirements by adhering to these requirements and working in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
