The predicted salary is between 51802 - 54971 Β£ per year.

The management of the Public Protection function within the Health and Built Environment section, including human, physical and financial resources. This includes the management of the Councils licensing function, the delivery of the animal welfare service, dog control, litter enforcement, public health, housing matters which fall within the remit of Council and the preparedness of Councils response in the event of any emergency within the area or on the ability of the organisation to continue to deliver services by ensuring robust business continuity plans are in place.

This post will have the responsibility for developing, delivering and leading statutory inspection programmes, education and the enforcement of relevant legislation. Ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legislative requirements by adhering to these requirements and working in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements. Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
