The predicted salary is between 49764 - 52805 £ per year.
To support the Director of Corporate Services to create a high performing culture by being an active member of the Corporate Services Directorate, agreeing and delivering key strategic priorities and contributing to the operational effectiveness of the department and the Council.
Lead a high performing team by assuming responsibility for the department, creating clear strategic direction and delivering key objectives and services.
Deliver excellent services across the department by using performance management to drive continuous improvement and by effectively using the council's resources.
Contribute to the achievement of the Council's Corporate and Community Plans by providing leadership and business focus within the department and by fostering effective external partnerships and relationships.
Support the Council and elected members in their policy and decision-making role by providing timely, professional and objective advice on all aspects of the Department's functions.
Achieve transformational change by working with the Senior Management Team ensuring the effective integration of new and current functions and responsibilities.
Ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legislative requirements by adhering to these requirements and working in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements.
Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
