Job summary:
- Management and administration of Council's Grant Funding Programmes specifically, policy, evaluation/audit compliance.
- Managing compliance and verification of grant programmes, overseeing the processing of invoices, grant claims and returns to external funders, preparing & processing Letters of Offer/Rejection, verification of grant expenditure, processing of payments and project monitoring.
- Responsible for the management, maintenance, review and development of Councils Online Grant Manager System.
- Understand, map and respond to the funding needs (Capital Projects and Revenue Projects) for the Council and its service areas in accordance with the Council's Corporate Plan and Service Strategies.
- Ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legislative requirements by adhering to these requirements and working in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements.
- Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
