Job summary:
- Responsible for providing support to the Funding Unit to include financial, vouching, verification and monitoring of the Council's Grant Funding expenditure.
- Processing of all funds allocated to Grant Programmes by Council are recorded and reported on relevant Finance Systems.
- Ensure that all funds allocated to Grant Programmes by Council are effectively and efficiently accounted for in accordance with Council Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that the department complies with all statutory and legislative requirements by adhering to these requirements and working in accordance with good governance and health and safety requirements.
- Ensure that all responsibilities are carried out in a timely and effective manner and that general confidentiality is maintained in all areas relating to the work of the Council.
