Job summary

Reporting to the Senior Democratic Services Officer, within a team, you will be responsible for the organisation and administration of meetings of Council, its Committees and Sub Committees in accordance with legal requirements and Council's Standing Orders.

PLEASE NOTE: Only application forms containing all the information which has been sought will be considered. The shortlisting panel will base shortlisting decisions on the information contained within the Essential Criteria narrative sections of the application form, however Desirable Criteria may be used. It is the applicant's responsibility to provide sufficient relevant information including dates in this section of the form for each criteria.

A reserve list may be established in order to fill future permanent and temporary posts that may arise for another similar vacancy within the following 18 months. Should a similar post become available within this time period, the post may be offered to those candidates on the reserve list, in order of merit, without the requirement for a further interview. The post may be offered on a full-time, part-time, permanent, temporary or fixed-term basis.
