About the role: At Causaly, we’re building a category-defining platform that transforms how researchers think, discover, and make decisions in biomedicine. We’re looking for a Senior Scientific Solutions Consultant to partner closely with Strategic Client Partners and senior customer stakeholders across the full enterprise sales cycle. In this role, you will act as a trusted scientific and strategic advisor, helping prospective and existing customers understand how Causaly can accelerate research workflows, improve decision-making, and deliver measurable value across complex Life Sciences organizations.
As a senior individual contributor within our Go-To-Market team, you will lead high-impact discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, value narratives, and proof-of-value activities. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, shape customer strategy, influence senior scientific, digital, and business stakeholders, and contribute to the continued evolution of Causaly’s commercial playbooks. This is a role for someone who can combine deep scientific credibility with commercial acumen, consultative communication, and the ability to translate complex customer challenges into compelling, value-led solutions.
What you’ll be doing: As part of Causaly’s Go-To-Market team, you’ll serve as a senior scientific partner and product expert, bridging cutting-edge science with enterprise commercial strategy. You’ll develop a deep understanding of Causaly’s platform capabilities and customer use cases, becoming a go-to expert for demonstrating how Causaly transforms research workflows and decision-making across R&D, Digital, Medical, and Business teams. You’ll work closely with prospective and existing customers to uncover complex scientific and operational challenges, design tailored solutions, and articulate how Causaly can accelerate discovery, de-risk projects, and deliver measurable business value. You will also play a key role in mentoring others, improving internal processes, and helping shape how we position Causaly in strategic enterprise opportunities.
- Lead scientific and technical discovery across complex enterprise and strategic sales opportunities, identifying customer priorities, pain points, decision criteria, and value drivers.
- Partner with Strategic Client Partners to shape deal strategy, account plans, stakeholder engagement, and tailored solution narratives.
- Design and deliver high-impact product demonstrations for senior scientific, technical, digital, and executive audiences.
- Translate complex scientific, technical, and AI concepts into clear, credible, and commercially compelling stories.
- Lead or support proof-of-value activities, ensuring success criteria are well-defined, scientifically relevant, and linked to measurable customer outcomes.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across R&D, Digital, Data Science, Competitive Intelligence, Medical Affairs, and Business Development.
- Help customers think strategically about AI adoption, evidence generation, knowledge workflows, and the role of Causaly in their broader data ecosystem.
- Act as a subject matter expert on drug discovery and development workflows, customer use cases, and the scientific value of Causaly’s platform.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Scientific teams to improve positioning, product feedback loops, adoption, and customer value.
- Represent Causaly at industry events, conferences, customer workshops, and executive meetings across Europe, with opportunities to support global commercial initiatives.
- Contribute to internal enablement by developing demo narratives, use-case playbooks, competitive positioning, and best-practice materials for the wider GTM team.
- Mentor and support more junior Solutions Consultants, helping raise the quality and consistency of scientific consulting across the team.
What we’re looking for:
- PhD in Biomedical or Life Sciences, such as Biology, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Immunology, Oncology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes, including the scientific, operational, and strategic challenges faced by Life Sciences R&D teams.
- Experience in a customer-facing, consulting, pre-sales, scientific engagement, business development, or strategic advisory role within Life Sciences, SaaS, AI, data, or a related environment.
- Proven ability to lead scientific conversations with credibility across a range of stakeholders, from bench scientists to senior executives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex scientific and technical concepts without losing precision.
- Strong commercial instincts and the ability to connect scientific workflows to business value, customer priorities, and strategic outcomes.
- Confidence operating in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving decision processes.
- Ability to design and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and value narratives tailored to different audiences.
- Curiosity and informed perspective on how AI, knowledge graphs, and data technologies are transforming research and decision-making in Life Sciences.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across Sales, Product, Customer Success, Marketing, and Scientific teams.
- Proactive use of AI tools to increase personal productivity, improve the speed and quality of research, preparation, synthesis, and communication, and continuously looks for ways to work smarter in a fast-moving commercial environment.
- High ownership, strong judgment, and the ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
