We deliver high-quality services across various sectors, including environmental, infrastructure, waste management, energy and land development. As we expand our hydrogeology services, we are seeking a motivated individual who can lead, inspire, and deliver complex and varied hydrogeological projects. Founded in 2008, Caulmert is a fresh-thinking, forward-looking consultancy committed to delivering value-driven solutions that meet the needs of our clients and the environment. As a Senior or Principal Hydrogeologist, you’ll play a key role in the development of our hydrogeology capability. Have a working understanding of the Environmental Permitting Regulations associated with the technical support for permit applications across industrial and waste sectors Lead and manage hydrogeological assessments, including Hydrogeological Impact Assessments (HIA), Hydrogeological Risk Assessments (HRA), groundwater and risk modelling, Site Condition Reports (SCR) and contaminated land assessments, from initial concept through to delivery and reporting Provide expert advice on hydrogeological issues, including environmental impact assessments, groundwater risk assessments, pollution control, environmental permitting and regulatory submissions Collaborative and supportive teamwork, participate in mentoring and training other staff in key technical areas, sharing your knowledge and encouraging good practices Contribute to business development by preparing proposals, building client relationships, and identifying new opportunities Assist in the development of client relationships and opportunities for continued growth of environmental services based on your skills and areas of expertise Ensure high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance across all projects A degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification) in Hydrogeology, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline A minimum of five years of relevant industry experience is required for the Senior position, while eight years of relevant industry experience is necessary for the Principal position. Both roles require demonstrable project leadership and client-facing experience.
