The Role
We’reseeking a dynamic andforward-thinking educator to join our team at the Malvern Campus ona part-time basis (0.4 FTE), with flexibility across 3–4 days perweekonapermanent basiscommencingin January 2027.
As an Enrichment Teacher, youwillbe responsible fordeveloping and implementing acurriculum that challenges highlyable students.
This includesoverseeing the rollout of the program, whichidentifies, assesses, andmonitorsstudent progress.
You Will workclosely with classroom teachers, the Head of Teaching and Learning, the Head of Learning Strategies, and families to support theindividual learning needs of thesestudents
- Key Duties
- Advocate for and practicallysupport differentiation within the mainstream curriculum, working with all staff.
- Support Teachers indifferentiating the curriculum andmakingadjustmentsso that all students are fullyengaged.
- Plan and deliver targetedprograms for identified and high potentiallearners.
- Implement programs andinterventions that are responsive, and datainformed.
- Conduct assessments and analyseavailable data toidentifystudents with exceptionalabilities andmonitortheir progress overtime.
- Collaborate with Classroom and Specialist teachers to plan and implement meaningful enrichmentexperiences, for highlyablestudents.
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values andbehaviours.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge andexperienceof gifted and talentededucation
- Exemplary teaching practices, with proven classroom managementpractices
- Comprehensive knowledge ofcurrent educational issues, curriculum frameworksand
- National standards as they applyin an ELC-12context
- Demonstrated ability to designand implement quality differentiated teaching and learningprograms
- Masters of Gifted Educationand/or equivalent qualification in supporting highlyablestudents
- Relevant tertiary qualificationsand/or experience related to the teaching responsibility asrequired by the position
- Hold a current VITRegistration
