We are searching for a Senior Interior Designer with good experience of the luxury residential sector to assume a role working on two of the world’s most prestigious super prime residential schemes in Mayfair and France. While construction of Le Provencal has been achieved and 1 Mayfair is due for completion in late 2027, the timeline for the design of individual apartments across both projects extends beyond 2030.
The Senior Interior Designer will work within a small team of designers led by our Head of Interior Design. The role involves close collaboration with the Sales & Marketing team on the design of show apartments for both projects as well as contributing to the creative input to the visualisation of sales and marketing materials.
The designer will have very good CAD technical skills, as well as excellent knowledge of finishes and FF&E suppliers. The candidate will enjoy the support and collaboration of the Caudwell Design team of architects & designers who have played an integral role in creating the internal development specifications in our developments. The successful candidate is passionate about design and will have a strong creative flair, coupled with an understanding of the required technical information.
Role responsibilities:
- Working on both our Ultra Prime residential development schemes for 1 Mayfair and Le Provencal.
- Reviewing base build design packages and putting forward proposals for design schemes for the designated show apartments.
- Creating design concepts for CGIs of the residences to assist with marketing & sales.
- Leading the production and delivery of Interior Design and furniture drawings to a design intent level.
- Selecting, developing, and procuring FF&E specifications within an agreed budget.
- Working with suppliers to ensure that expected quality of design is delivered.
- Installation and styling of show apartments.
Required skills:
- A degree in Interior Design and / or Architecture.
- +6 years experience in a high end interior design studio with at least 1 year working as a Senior Interior Designer.
- Proven ability to take a project from concept to completion.
- A team player but capable of taking the initiative, work independently, and confidently presenting creative ideas.
- A sense of fun, reliable and responsible attitude, and flexible approach to achieve the best outcomes and to work between projects.
- An exceptional eye for detail and colour, and a deep understanding and knowledge of materiality, finishes, FF&E, lighting and styling.
- Ability to produce conceptual presentations with mood imagery, sketches, materials and FF&E.
- Managing feedback and translating into clear development actions.
- Ability to produce drawings, sketches, mood boards and presentations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and InDesign are essential. SketchUp is desirable.
Salary will be commensurate with your abilities and experience.
