Caudwell Marine is a start-up engineering company, financially backed by John Caudwell, developing an innovative, patented outboard motor and Vessel Control System for launch in 2026. The Caudwell Marine organisation is a small but growing, experienced team of people who are passionate about successfully bringing this technologically leading outboard motor to market. Each team member has a ‘hands on’ approach and supports each other for the benefit of the programme.

The Engine Test Technician will work with external suppliers and internal teams to define all the test requirements of the production engine. You will act as primary contact point for all engine test cell activities across Caudwell Marine to ensure the development, knowledge, and commission of our initial and ongoing products. You will support the Manufacturing Operations and Engineering Design in identifying and advising on testing solutions to meet test cell cycle requirement, quality targets and our customer needs. Once appointed you will report to the Head of Manufacturing.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the production engine test cell, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe testing activity.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations.
