Responsibilities of our Van Driver
- To enable the safe and timely movement of goods across the Cats Protection retail estate
- To supervise the volunteers who are assisting on the van, ensuring they operate within health and safety guidelines
- To act as a brand ambassador for Cats Protection, being a role model for the values and behaviour’s of the charity
About the retail team
- Our retail operation consists of over 80 charity shops
- Each of our shops has its own charm and personality due to our dedicated volunteers and colleagues. From vintage jewelry and jigsaws to harps and handbags, whether our customers are looking for that 'must have' item or simply a 'missing piece'.
What we’re looking for in our Van Driver
- Experience of driving a commercial van (manual), and using satellite navigation equipment
- An awareness of health and safety procedures and manual handling
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Flexibility to travel within the region as required
- Hold a full UK driving license
