A keen eye for detail, great customer focus and a flair for numbers. That’s what we’re looking for in our new Student Finance Assistant during a 6-month summer contract. This is a full-time contract position from March to August. The role is office-based, set within our English Language school, just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Canterbury.
What’s the role?
Stafford House Study Holidays welcome large groups of international students each summer to stay, learn and have fun at our 7 centres across the UK. Based in the Finance Department in Canterbury, you’ll produce and log invoices for our students, liaising with our reservations team to raise and manage invoicing and reconciliations. You’ll work with our summer school teams to ensure each of our centre's petty cash and credit card transactions are kept up to date and reconciled each week and hold weekly check-ins with our Centre Directors.

What you’ll need to make a success of the role:
- A keen eye for detail and friendly and confident communication skills
- Some finance or finance office experience required
- Experience of raising and managing invoices and reconciliations is highly desirable
- Confident to learn our in-house accounting system, facilitating the raising of invoices
- Be available until August 2026
- Based in our school, you will be expected to complete our safer recruitment process which includes an Enhanced DBS
