ROLE OVERVIEW
The Head of the CEO Office will play a critical role in supporting the Group's continued growth and development by leading strategic projects, overseeing operational priorities and driving accountability across schools and support functions. Responsibilities
CEO OFFICE LEADERSHIP AND GOVERNANCE
- Lead the CEO Office and coordinate the CEO's strategic priorities across business functions, schools and central teams.
- Drive implementation of decisions made by the CEO and executive leadership team, maintaining clear ownership, deadlines and follow-through.
- Oversee executive governance, reporting, decision tracking and the effective operation of CEO Office processes.
- Manage the CEO Office team and exercise delegated management authority on behalf of the CEO within agreed parameters.
STRADEGY AND PERFORMANCE
- Translate the CEO's and board's strategy into annual plans, KPIs and targets for schools and central teams.
- Lead the strategic planning cycle and regular business reviews.
- Track performance, identify gaps early and recommend action, ensuring consistent application of group standards.
KEY PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Lead strategic group projects, including M&A, efficiency reviews and priority Opex and Capex initiatives.
- Set clear objectives, business cases, timelines, ownership and risks; report progress and benefits to the CEO and board.
- Maintain a group project portfolio and coordinate delivery across schools and central teams.
SCHOOL OPERATIONS
- Work with operations teams and school business managers to deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective services.
- Lead cross-school operational projects, including facilities, systems, contracts and shared services.
- Oversee Opex and Capex planning, expenditure and prioritisation, and deliver measurable efficiencies.
- Monitor operational KPIs and turn performance data into action.
- Support compliance and lead responses to significant operational or reputational issues alongside the CEO
