The Academic Quality and Enhancement Administrator provides vital procedural support for monitoring and maintaining educational quality and standards. You will coordinate programme reviews, manage documentation for annual monitoring, service academic committees, and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks. This role ensures smooth curriculum operations and an elevated student experience.
Core Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance: Tracking programme approvals, minor course modifications, and annual monitoring documentation. Managing and organising external examiner processes and reports.
- Committee Servicing: Coordinating academic committee meetings, drafting agendas, producing high‑quality minutes, and tracking action items.
- Enhancement & Data: Supporting curriculum design and continuous quality improvement projects. Collating student feedback, surveys, and evaluation data to help departments enhance teaching delivery.
- Compliance: Maintaining strict version control of institutional policies, academic regulations, and programme handbooks. Assisting with submissions for regulatory bodies and professional accreditors.
Person Specification
- Strong organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail for managing large sets of academic data.
- Proficiency in utilising student management systems such as SITS or EBS.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively with academics, students, and external stakeholders.
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent in a relevant subject supported with substantial experience in higher education administration.
