If you’re passionate about making summer unforgettable, our Activities Manager role could be the perfect fit for you.
At Stafford House Study Holidays, we welcome over 6,000 young learners (aged 8–17) from around the world each summer. Our mission is to help students improve their English through engaging classroom lessons and a lively programme of activities and excursions. As Activities Manager, you’ll lead a team of Activity Leaders, ensuring our programme is not only enjoyable but also safe and well‑organised. You’ll be the driving force behind a diverse line‑up of activities, from sports, drama, and arts to quizzes, discos, and fashion shows—bringing creativity and energy to every event. With all resources provided, you’ll have everything you need to deliver engaging activities for our students. You’ll build strong working relationships with your team to ensure students have a safe, fun, and memorable stay. You’ll also play an active role in pastoral care, including night duties on a rota, while supporting and training Activity Leaders, Senior Activity Leaders, and Teachers.
Locations: Bournemouth, Cambridge, Central London, Northampton, and York. This is a residential contract.
Contract: Contract of 5‑8 weeks between 16th June to 9th August 2026 (24th August in Central London). Exact dates vary depending on your school, and they can be a little flexible. You must be available to attend our training weekend on 19th June 2026.
Hours: 60 hours per week, over 6 days – this is a fully immersive management role. This is a residential position and we provide you with full‑board accommodation.
What is required?
- You will have some previous experience of running activity/leisure programmes or events.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience of working/management in a summer camp or school.
- You’ll be a great communicator and a supportive leader, able to effectively manage your team, ensuring the happiness, safety and well‑being of staff and students alike.
- You must be available to attend our training weekend in June 2026.
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
