Our English Teachers are welcomed into our friendly, professional English teaching team at Stafford House School, based centrally in the historic city of Cambridge. You will teach EFL and EAP English classes, with the potential to teach exam classes as well.

Role Details

You will deliver EFL and EAP English courses to Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts (CSVPA) students. Our students take English alongside their focus of study within visual and performing arts. This role primarily involves teaching these courses. These are Academic English courses designed to develop students’ English skills for IELTS success and university readiness. Additionally, you may be timetabled for classes on the year-round Stafford House language school programmes.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent
  • CELTA or equivalent (essential)
  • DELTA or equivalent (preferred)
  • Experience teaching English for Academic Purposes (preferred)
  • Experience preparing students for exams (preferred)
  • Experience using Interactive Whiteboards (Promethean)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with under 18s; classes may include students aged 12 and above, requiring adaptable teaching methods.
