THE ROLE

You will support our Mental Health and Court of Protection teams, working closely with fee earners to provide high‑quality administrative support and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the department. You will also be a point of contact for clients, delivering a professional and welcoming experience. This role is based in our Wakefield office. Initially, the role will be office‑based, with the option to work 1–2 days from home once you are fully trained and comfortable in the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative and secretarial support to the Mental Health and Court of Protection teams
  • Audio typing, file management, and maintaining accurate records
  • Managing diaries, telephone calls, and correspondence
  • Handling client enquiries, including new enquiries, in a professional manner
  • Supporting the efficient daily operation of the department

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Experience working in a solicitor’s practice
