As a Legal Secretary in our Court of Protection (Health & Welfare) team, you will play a vital role in supporting the team with administrative support, mainly within the Mental Health team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting solicitors providing them with dedicated administrative support on Court of Protection and Mental Health matters.
  • Conducting legal research and drafting documents.
  • Liaising with clients and keeping them informed about their case progress.
  • Handling administrative tasks, including file management, document organisation, and scheduling.
  • Preparing and formatting legal documents.
  • Ensuring the smooth daily running of the department.

This role is based from our Wakefield office with a mixture of home and office working.

What you’ll bring:
  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or a strong enthusiasm for legal work.
  • Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
