We're looking for a Portfolio Project Manager to join ourCorporate Programme Management Office (PMO) and support the delivery of anambitious portfolio of programmes that will make a lasting difference acrossthe East Midlands.

About theRole
As a PortfolioProject Manager, you'll work with colleagues across the organisation to ensureprojects are effectively planned, governed, monitored and delivered. You'llhelp embed consistent project management standards, provide high-qualityreporting, and support informed decision-making across our portfolio.
Depending onyour experience and grade, you'll:
- Support or lead the delivery ofprojects and programmes to agreed time, cost and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans,risk and issue logs, governance documentation and performance reports.
- Monitor project progress andprovide clear, accurate reporting for senior leaders and governanceboards.
- Build positive relationships withinternal teams, partners and stakeholders.
- Contribute to improving PMOprocesses, tools and project management best practice.
- At higher grades, lead complexprojects, develop business cases, provide portfolio-level insight anddrive continuous improvement across the PMO.
What We'reLooking For
We're lookingfor someone who has:
- Experience supporting or deliveringprojects and programmes.
- Strong planning, organisational andprioritisation skills with a logical and methodical approach.
- Good analytical and numericalskills, with the ability to interpret a broad range of information andpresent clear recommendations.
- Knowledge of project managementmethodologies, tools and governance processes.
- The ability to manage competingpriorities and deliver high-quality work to deadlines.
- Experience managing or developingprojects.
- Knowledge of recognised projectmanagement methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or Lean.
- Evidence of continuing professionaldevelopment.
- Project management qualificationsor working towards accreditation.
