This role would be joining Pryers, part of the Switalskis Group. You will work in the Court of Protection Finance team, supporting Fee Earners in the day-to-day running of the department while providing a professional and welcoming service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing documents, audio typing and maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Opening and managing files, including client care documentation and compliance tasks
  • Liaising with clients and third parties, handling enquiries and supporting ongoing matters
  • Managing diaries, incoming post and general administrative tasks
  • Maintaining well-organised files and undertaking general clerical duties
  • Assisting with billing processes and team coordination, including meetings and records
  • Providing reception cover and ad-hoc support as required

This role is based at our York office, with hybrid working (one day from home) available after successful completion of probation.

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience in a legal environment, particularly Court of Protection work
