THE ROLE
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our CommercialProperty team, supporting the department and working alongside experiencedsolicitors and fee earners.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking tobuildtheir experience within commercial property, gaining exposure to a broadrange of transactions while developing their legal knowledge and practicalskills within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to fee earners across a range ofcommercial property matters.
- Assist with progressing transactions from initialinstruction through to completion and post-completion.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence and formsunder appropriate supervision.
- Carry out legal research, searches and other administrativetasks required to progress matters.
- Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, solicitors and otherthird parties as required.
- Assist with file opening, file management and ensuringrecords are kept accurate and up to date.
- Support the team in delivering an efficient, responsive andhigh-quality service to clients.
- Ensure compliance with firm policies, procedures andregulatory requirements.
This role will be based at our Knaresborough officeon a hybrid basis.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Previous experience within a legal environment, ideally withsome exposure to property or commercial property work.
- A genuine interest in developing your knowledge andexperience within commercial property.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and workeffectively to deadlines.
- A proactive, positive approach with a willingness to learnand develop.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and, ideally,legal case management systems.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to providingexcellent client service.
