Your New Company

CATL is a global group specialised in leading battery manufacturing technologies. We are looking to hire an AIDC Engineer/Manager to join our team to support and assist our AIDC Project Development Teams on a portfolio of various projects across the world. All our projects are at early development stage so you will be collaborating with teams from initial site feasibility, right through to ready to build and beyond. As we grow, we will also be expanding into new markets and there will be opportunities to contribute to this expansion. The role will be part of a very impressive and capable AIDC team. You will need to be ready to work in a flexible environment where everyone is aligned to company development.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze technical requirements for overseas data center projects.
  • Communicate with customers and provide data center solutions based on their requirements; prepare bidding and proposal documents.
  • Identify risks and resolve system-level issues throughout the product development process.
  • Track testing, pilot production, and certification results; prepare R&D documentation such as product specifications and patents.
  • Draft technical agreements.
  • Be able to undertake long-term business travel or on-site assignments to provide localized customer support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above; preferred majors include Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields.
  • Experience in data center power systems design, including HVDC, PDU (Panama power distribution), supercapacitors, UPS, BBU, power modules, or related areas.
  • At least 3 years of technical experience in customer-facing roles within the data center industry is preferred.
  • Experience with products or projects that have been successfully mass-produced or delivered is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, coordination, and comprehension skills.
  • Highly proactive, with solid logical thinking and strong teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
