Core Mission: As a core member of our global legal team, you will be at the forefront of structuring, negotiating, and executing complex equity and asset transactions for greenfield and strategic acquisitions, and serve as the pivotal link between investment, financial, and tax teams to forge holistic deal strategies, transforming complex challenges into successful outcomes for our global portfolio.

Job Description (BESS Broadway):

  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents, such as equity share and asset subscription/purchase agreements and shareholders agreements.
  • Working closely and coordinating with the investment team, financial and tax teams in reviewing, analyzing, implementing and executing such transactions.
  • Managing and coordinating due diligence reviews and reviewing relevant due diligence reports.
  • Managing national security reviews and government approvals processes for cross-border investment projects.
  • Providing legal advice and daily legal support for cross-border investments, with a focus on independent power producer (IPP) projects.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • A qualified lawyer (or equivalent) in any common law jurisdiction.
  • Over five (5) years' experience in multinational corporations and/or recognized international law firms.
  • Preferred experience in overseas greenfield investments, IPP projects, or automotive/energy sectors.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong learning ability, practical problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative team spirit.
