We are looking for a Construction /Engineering Administrator to work directly with our Project Managers. This role requires someone who is not only excellent at administration and coordination but also assertive, and able to keep fast-moving projects and the people running them on track.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct administrative support to Project Managers, including diary management, meeting coordination, project updates and delivery times.
  • Manage Microsoft Outlook calendars and MS Teams channels, ensuring schedules and communications are up to date.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and status trackers with accuracy and attention to deadlines.
  • Coordinate project meetings: preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Update documents on to files.
  • Act as a central point of contact between Project Managers and other team members, ensuring smooth communication and timely responses.
  • Support budget tracking, expense reporting, and procurement activities.
  • Proactively monitor tasks, deadlines, and project deliverables, flagging issues and chasing where required.
  • Keep Project Managers organised and accountable, providing that extra push to keep momentum going.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years administrative support in a fast-paced work environment, meeting deadlines and chasing up the team.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with proven experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple managers or working in a project-led environment.
  • Detail-driven with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
