An opportunity has been created by this charitable organisation for a Business Support Administrator. The successful candidate must have previous office administration experience in a business support role. The job involves providing efficient and reliable administrative support to ensure the smooth day to day operation of the business. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks, supporting internal teams, and acting as a first point of contact for enquiries.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support including filing, data entry, and document management
- Answer phone calls and emails, responding to enquiries or directing them appropriately
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and internal systems
- Prepare correspondence and reports
- Support diary management, meetings, and minute-taking where required
- Order office supplies and liaise with suppliers when necessary
- Provide ad hoc administrative support to managers and teams as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months experience in a business support role essential, ideally 2 years plus
- Applicants must have Minimum 3 GCSEβs grades A to C to include English and Maths OR equivalent
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
- Experience working in a small or fast-paced business environment
- Team player
- Proactive and willing to take initiative
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential information
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to collate, analyse and present information
