This well established and reputable company, based in Derry, is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their busy accounts team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to work in a fast paced environment and contribute to the success of the accounts department, carrying out all tasks with accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Process purchase and sales invoices.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Process Purchase ledger invoices and match delivery notes and POs.
- Assist with credit card statements and reconcile with bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Manage credit control with team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as an Accounts Administrator in a fast paced environment (approximately 3 years plus).
- Experience with accounting software Sage.
- Confident using spreadsheets and general office software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise tasks.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Complete VAT returns preferred but not essential.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Reliable and trustworthy with strong integrity.
