CTK St Mary’s is part of the Christ the King Sixth Forms group of three highly successful Catholic sixth forms located in south east London and Kent. The Sixth Form was rated Good with Outstanding features by Ofsted. As a sixth form centre for excellence, CTK St Mary’s offers a wide range of both A Level and vocational courses. Located in Sidcup, on the Kent borders, and surrounded by green playing fields, CTK St Mary’s students are inspired and motivated to succeed. CTK is a highly ambitious Catholic Sixth Form College, where all students are nurtured and supported to reach their full potential.
We are now looking for an exceptional teacher or health professional to teach on our T Level Nursing course at our CTK St Mary’s site. The successful candidate will have the ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning to young people aged 16‑19.
Responsibilities
- You will join a talented staff team in a successful Sixth Form and will be supported to develop your teaching practice in an environment of positive encouragement and mutual respect.
- You’ll provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, stretching and challenging your students to reach their potential.
- You will ensure they feel confident about going out into the world and being extraordinary in life and in their future career.
Qualifications & Support
We welcome applications from ECTs and we are able to offer a tailored programme of support towards successful completion of your induction year. The salary for qualified teachers is based on the SFCA’s teaching spine points 1‑9 (£38,539 to £56,788 inclusive of London Weighting). For other teachers the salary is between £34,383 and £36,539. We are able to support staff to gain a recognised teaching qualification at a competitive salary.
