Loreto Grammar School is an 11-18 Roman Catholic Grammar School for Girls with Academy status located in Altrincham, in the Borough of Trafford. It is a thriving, successful and over-subscribed school, judged as “Outstanding” by Ofsted in September 2022 and by the Diocese of Shrewsbury. We are proud to have been named as the North West Secondary School of the Year 2025.

The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a colleague to join our successful Design Technology department. Experience of teaching GCSE Design Technology is essential and the ability to teach A Level Design Technology: Product Design, is preferable. Experience of all Key Stages and across different material areas is essential, e.g., Textiles, CADCAM, Woodwork.

Applications are welcome from colleagues at all career stages, including ECT. The successful candidate will be an engaged and enthusiastic teacher and form tutor and will join an established and supportive Loreto community and be expected to commit to the ethos and values of the school.
