We are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate and hardworking Sound & Lighting Technician to join our Expressive Arts faculty which comprises our Drama, Music and Art departments across both our Prep and Senior schools. This is an exciting opportunity which is offered on a fixed term contract for the 2026/27 academic year.
This position will provide sound, lighting and AV support within the Expressive Arts faculty and across the wider College as we host a vast number of exciting forward-facing events throughout the school year, including the whole school show, the Eisteddford, music recitals, open mornings and smaller events / assemblies.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of managing stage lighting and using lighting desks, managing Digital/Analogue mixing consoles along with a general understanding of signal flow and power distribution. Flexibility, the ability to work collaboratively as well as on own initiative, to prioritise and deal with varying demands, as well as a sense of humour, are essential.
This fixed term role is being offered on a full-time, term time basis although part-time working will be considered for the right candidate. There is also a requirement to attend 5 Inset days, Open day and an additional 8 days to support rehearsals and maintenance of AV equipment out of term time (total of 185 working days).
