The predicted salary is between 41184 - 41184 £ per year.

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday; term time plus 4 weeks per year. St. Paul’s Pay Range 7 Point 33 (£44,075 – £47,181 FTE). Actual starting salary £41,184. Start September 2026.

We are seeking an experienced, committed, and highly motivated Safeguarding Leader to join our pastoral and leadership team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of all students across the school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead operational safeguarding discussions and participate in multi‑agency meetings.
  • Assess and support children and young people, managing and triaging safeguarding referrals.
  • Prioritise actions appropriately and provide guidance and support to staff on child welfare, safeguarding, and child protection matters.
  • Work closely with external agencies, including the local authority and police, where required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to safeguarding in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Current Enhanced DBS check and ability to obtain a satisfactory one.
