We are seeking an experienced, committed, and highly motivated Safeguarding Leader to join our pastoral and leadership team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of all students across the school community.
Responsibilities:
- Lead operational safeguarding discussions and participate in multi‑agency meetings.
- Assess and support children and young people, managing and triaging safeguarding referrals.
- Prioritise actions appropriately and provide guidance and support to staff on child welfare, safeguarding, and child protection matters.
- Work closely with external agencies, including the local authority and police, where required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and commitment to safeguarding in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Current Enhanced DBS check and ability to obtain a satisfactory one.
