Responsibilities
  • Study for your teaching qualification one day per week.
  • Train as an active and innovative teacher, passionate about business.
  • Attend General Practice Training at St Charles Borromeo Teaching Hub and receive subject training remotely.
  • Work as a teacher on a reduced timetable—four days per week—in a well‑resourced Maths department.
  • Receive a mentor for the training year with 1.5 hours of protected time per week to support development.
Qualifications
  • Commitment to year‑long training and to becoming a qualified teacher.
  • Passion for teaching and for mathematics.
  • Strong subject knowledge of mathematics at GCSE and A‑Level / Further Mathematics or Statistics.
  • Ability to commit to a fixed‑term training contract starting 24th August 2026.
