We seek to appoint an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher to lead our Outstanding R.E Department and to contribute to the formation of the girls of our College in the spirit of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Missions and their Mother Foundress Euphrasie Barbier. The R.E. Department at The Sacred Heart Language College has consistently delivered excellence in education and pupil formation. Our R.E. results have been consistently above the national average for a sustained period of time and our provision was rated as Outstanding in all categories by the CSI in our recent inspection.
Responsibilities
- Teach across the key stages and be responsible for curriculum, assessment, deployment and development of the team.
- Collaborate with the Education Service of the Arch Diocese supporting the Chaplaincy Provision within the College.
- Take a leading role within the Catholic Life of the College.
Qualifications
- Practicing Catholic.
- Outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Passionate about leading and shaping Religious Education for young people.
- Experience working within the Roman Catholic sector (essential).
