Are you passionate about teaching English? Do you want to work in an academy that is driven by the dreams, aspirations and ambitions of its students and the wider community? The Trustees are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational teacher of English.

The successful candidate would be expected to teach across the age and ability range, up to and including A Level and build on the solid foundations already in place and bring learning to life and inspire our students.

The English Department is a thriving and well‑resourced department that achieves very good exam results and contributes positively to the wider life of the academy.

The Palmer Catholic Academy is a very successful, over‑subscribed 11–18 mixed, multi‑cultural, voluntary‑aided comprehensive Academy in the London Borough of Redbridge. Although a Catholic academy, we welcome applications from Catholic and non‑Catholic teachers.

The Palmer Catholic Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
