We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor to join our cover team, supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff by implementing agreed plans, programmes and resources. This post will suit a candidate who has the ability to work flexibly, support and motivate young people and act as a positive role model, setting high expectations for our students.

Candidates must have:

  • Experience of working with young people in a learning environment
  • Excellent communication, numeracy and literacy skills
  • An understanding of curriculum
  • The ability to relate well to both staff and students

The post is for 32.5 hours per week. Working pattern for the post is 8:15am to 3:15pm, Monday to Friday. From time to time it may be necessary to work flexibly to effectively support college meetings and events, this is a term time plus 5 days post.
