Required for September 2026 Teachers’ Pay Scale [Inner London]. The governing body and leaders support pupils’ wider development. They are committed to making sure that pupils are prepared well for life in modern Britain. Ofsted, October 2022.

The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Teacher of Humanities. Judged “good” by Ofsted in October 2022 and “outstanding” by the Archdiocese of Southwark in June 2025. Our Roman Catholic, Salesian school strives to ensure that all its young people are given the opportunity and support they need to achieve their best, fulfil their true potential, and go out into the world confident and ready to ‘earn their own bread.’

It is an exciting time to join St John Bosco College as we continue our journey towards being an outstanding school now that we are fully settled into our state‑of‑the‑art building in the heart of Battersea. The successful candidate will receive a full programme of CPD and have opportunities for career development within the school. We are seeking a talented individual to deliver high quality Humanities lessons across KS3‑KS5 and to support other curriculum areas where appropriate. The successful candidate will be expected to provide excellent pastoral care to all students. This post would be suitable for a newly qualified teacher.
