MPS/UPS Fringe, required 1st September 2026. St Peter’s is a renowned successful school and Sixth Form in Guildford. We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our Economics and Business team, starting September 2026.

About St Peter’s: St Peter’s Catholic School, part of the Xavier Catholic Education Trust, is an extremely successful school and Sixth Form set in attractive grounds on the outskirts of Guildford, with onsite parking. About the Business and Economics Department: As a department, we are friendly, hardworking, positive and passionate about our subject and inspiring students. Our vision for economics and business is to engage and inspire all our students through appropriate accessible courses. These courses range from A Level Economics and Business, GCSE and Vocational BTEC options. Our GCSE and A Level results in both Economics and Business are excellent with 100% of our students achieving a good GCSE grade, 88.5% A* – C and 39% A*-A at A Level. Our classes rank 13% higher than similar centres. We offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities including Young Enterprise, Virtual Stock Market as well as educational visits to London. The Sixth Form Economics and Business classes are located in a new purpose-built facility which also includes a dedicated vocational learning ICT suite.

About You: We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher of Economics and would welcome experienced and ECT applications. If you are passionate about your subject and want to really make a difference to the lives of young people then St Peter’s could be the school for you.
