We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly organised and caring Pastoral Administrative Officer to join our busy and supportive pastoral team on a 12-month temporary contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who is passionate about working with young people and understands the importance of effective pastoral systems in supporting students’ attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and personal development.
About you
We are looking for someone who is
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Calm, resilient and adaptable with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Approachable and compassionate, with a genuine commitment to supporting young people.
- An excellent communicator who can establish positive relationship with students, parents/carers and colleagues.
- Confident using IT systems and databases, with good Microsoft Office skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when dealing with sensitive information.
- Proactive and able to work independently, using initiative when appropriate.
- A reliable and committed team player.
- Experience in administration; experience within a school, college or other education setting would be advantageous.
