New Hall is seeking a proactive and organised International Admissions Administrator to support the smooth and efficient operation of the School’s international admissions function. Working closely with colleagues across Admissions, Boarding, Finance and Communications, the postholder manages the administration of applications from initial enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring a high standard of accuracy, care and professionalism.
The International Admissions Administrator requires a proactive, organised and service‑focused approach, with a commitment to delivering an outstanding experience for prospective families and agents, while upholding the School’s Catholic ethos and values.
Key responsibilities:- Manage international admissions enquiries, providing a professional, responsive and high‑quality service from initial contact through to enrolment, ensuring timely, accurate and courteous communication with prospective families and agents.
- Prepare, collate and present accurate, detailed information to support the Admissions Committee, and monitor applications to ensure all documentation is complete and processed efficiently.
- Coordinate interviews, assessments and school references, and prepare and issue offer letters and process acceptance documentation for new starters.
- Prepare and distribute induction information, providing guidance and support to parents, agents and students to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Maintain, update and develop accurate databases, and analyse admissions data and trends to support effective recruitment strategies and continuous improvement.
- Work in partnership with Boarding staff to coordinate admissions, ensuring all processes are completed efficiently.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with School policies, including data protection, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute positively to the Admissions team, demonstrating flexibility during busy periods.
- Uphold and promote the School’s values, ethos and reputation in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- To have a clear understanding of, and commitment to, the aims and ethos of a Catholic independent boarding and day school.
- To be educated to A Level standard (or equivalent).
- To have proven administrative experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- To have experience of working in the independent education sector.
- To have experience of, and an appreciation for, the principles and practices of school admissions.
- To have experience of boarding education.
- To have excellent communication, organisational and management skills.
- To have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with parents, agents and colleagues.
- To have excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
- To have an awareness of data protection and safeguarding requirements.
- To be proactive, flexible and able to use initiative to manage competing priorities.
- To be approachable, confident and personable, with excellent spoken English.
- To have a strong understanding of and commitment to Catholic education.
