What We Are Looking For

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators to join the teaching staff of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Wandal. We are seeking a specialist teacher (12 hpw/2 days per week) who can plan, teach and report on curriculum for all classes from Prep through to Year 6 in the area of Physical Education. This is a part-time contract position, commencing as soon as possible until 17 January 2027.

Applications are welcome from anyone who would support the school's ethos and possess the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
  • Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
  • Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
  • Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton
