What We Are Looking For
Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants for the casual position of Kindergarten Teacher at either St Joseph's Catholic Kindergarten, Park Avenue or St Anthony's Catholic Kindergarten, North Rockhampton. Applications are welcome from anyone who would support the school's ethos and possess the following:
- Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
- Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
- Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- A desire to serve the community of Central Queensland

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- The ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration and/or relevant ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teacher Qualification
- Hold one of the following Child Protection competencies or willing to obtain:
- CHCPRT025—Identify and report children and young people at risk
- CHCPRT001—Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
- CHCPRT026—Support the rights and safety of children and young people
- CHCPRT002—Support the rights and safety of children and young people
- CHCECE057—Use collaborative practices to uphold child protection principles
