About the role:

As Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for leading the organisation’s people strategy and cultivating a high-performance, inclusive, and values-driven culture across a broad and diverse organisation, including membership, volunteers and employees located across Victoria. Working closely with the CEO and executive team, you will ensure our people strategy supports organisational growth, transformation, and operational excellence. Leading a dedicated P&C team that covers Business Partnering and Workplace Relations; Talent Acquisition and Compliance; and Organisational Development, this is a strategic and influential role that balances executive leadership with practical delivery across all areas of People and Culture.

About you:

You are an experienced and strategic HR leader with a passion for building strong cultures and enabling organisational success through people. You will bring:

  • Extensive executive-level experience in Human Resources / People & Culture leadership.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior executives and boards to influence organisational direction.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing and leading high-performing HR teams.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related discipline (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
