What We Are Looking For

Applications are invited from qualified and enthusiastic educators for the position of Classroom Teacher (Year 5) at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, Park Avenue. This is a full-time contract position commencing as soon as possible until 17 January 2027. The successful applicant requires excellent people skills, a capacity to work as a part of a team, and the willingness to support students, staff and parents of the school.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (or eligible to graduate)
  • Evidence of successfully passing the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education Students
  • Appropriate qualities, knowledge and skills to provide a relevant and holistic education
  • Eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
  • A desire to serve the communities located within the diocese of Rockhampton
