Your Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Classroom Support Assistant to join the staff of Emmaus College, Rockhampton. This is a term-time continuing position, commencing as soon as possible or as negotiated with the successful applicant.
Responsibilities
- Providing one‑on‑one or small group support to students, including students with additional needs.
- Monitoring student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and organising educational materials.
About You

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality in dealing with young people and their needs.
- The ability to work well either individually or collaboratively in a team and to accept direction and support.
- Genuine care for the wellbeing of students.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic educational setting.
- Tertiary qualifications at Certificate level or equivalent knowledge, qualifications and experience relevant to this role would be highly regarded.
- Experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable but not essential.

Mandatory Requirements
